Our matriculants lifted the school's National Senior Certificate pass rate to 89%, with 34 bachelor passes and eight distinctions in Physical Sciences.
The Class of 2025 has written one of the proudest chapters in the history of Dlangezwa High School. Of the 178 candidates who sat for the National Senior Certificate examinations, 158 passed — an 89% pass rate and a six-point improvement on the previous cohort.
Thirty-four learners earned bachelor passes, qualifying them for degree study at universities across the country. The school also recorded eight distinctions in Physical Sciences and eleven in isiZulu Home Language.
Principal Mr S. M. Mthethwa credited the result to the Saturday enrichment programme, the winter school hosted with the University of Zululand, and the unwavering support of parents. "Eagles never perch but on high," he reminded the assembly. "This is a new floor, not a ceiling."
